In this drama, Stefan (Tom Wlaschiha) is the son of a medical researcher who died while attending the origin of the AIDS pandemic. Hoping to follow in the footsteps of his father, Stefan trip to San Francisco, where his investigation leads him to the city in the heart of the underground sex scene. Along the way, Stefan meets Jeffrey (Jim Thalmann), a handsome man who has discovered some of the data for scientific testing in prisons. Stefan soon becomes involved with Jeffrey, but soon discovers that Jeffrey may have ties to a serial killer who has to make a living with HIV.
